This is how a company should do it...

At our weekly creative meeting someone [@buschkamps] brought in pictures of a storefront they had stopped by over the weekend.  It's called Next Door Chicago and it's a storefront where you can go in and get free wi-fi, buy a coffee, have meetings, ask questions, oh yeah, and get insurance advice since it's put up by State Farm.  However you wouldn't know that unless you really looked.  It's a low key space for people to meet and work, with an un-obtrusive corporate angle should you choose to participate in that.  I'm going to head down next weekend to check it out for myself, until then you'll have to deal with the photos from their website.

Connecticut

This past weekend I hopped on a Southwest flight (for the first time, I was pretty impressed) to Connecticut for my cousin's wedding. And I must say, it was BEAUTIFUL. The area was very pretty, but the place her wedding was at was breathtaking. The area where the service was overlooked this deep valley, then dinner was outside a beautiful house that looked over that same valley, and dancing took place in a really old barn that had been updated for that task. It was really amazing.
